Why should I pay to have my resume professionally done?

One word -- competition. Having the experience is just the first step, you need to present your value proposition to potential employers in an engaging way. Remember -- companies hire people and this is even more true today when the internet makes it easy for a large number of people to apply to any given position. In order to distinguish yourself, an 'okay' resume isn't enough. You want to have 'the' resume.

2.	I'm not ready to purchase, should I still join Right Resumes?
	We hope you do! If you are not ready to purchase, joining Right Resumes will allow you to sign up for a free resume review. You will also have access to member exclusive web content, special offers and promotions.

BUSINESS

1.	When can I expect to receive my resume?
	First drafts are sent within 5 business days of conducting our consultation. If you would like to expedite the process, there is an option to have your draft within 2 business for an additional fee.

What is the process after I have remitted payment?

You will receive confirmation of your payment and a consultant will be assigned to your project. Your consultant will arrange a time to discuss your experience as it relates to your current goals and create a strategy for your resume. Within 5 days (unless you have made arrangements for your order to be rush delivered) you will receive your first draft. Working with your consultant, any necessary changes will be made and a second (and typically final) draft will be sent to you for approval.

What is the difference between a resume edit and resume review?

Our resume review process is a service we provide to answer a few of the concerns you have about your resume. Generally, we tell you how competitive your resume would be given your goals but no changes are made to your resume. We offer suggestions and you can use that to improve your resume, should you choose to do so. Our resume edit service, also called a 'Rescripted Resume' includes a written evaluation of your resume, a customized summary section for your resume, and editing of your resume for spelling and grammatical errors. Beyond the summary section, no substantive changes are made to your resume, but you can use the examples provided in the written evaluation to incorporate more information.

4.	Are there additional payment options?
	In addition to purchasing via our secure shopping cart (up to 256 bit encryption is used to protect your information) you may use PayPal or Google Checkout. Just register for your account, send an email to us with the service you would like to purchase, and we will return an invoice with instructions on making payments with your PayPal or Google Checkout account.

MEMBERSHIP

1.	Is there a fee to join Right Resumes?
	No, membership is completely free and gives you access to exclusive content and promotions. Please see our membership benefits page for more information.

2.	How can I receive the Right Resumes newsletter?
	Simply sign up for membership and you will begin receiving our newsletter. It's a great source of information and includes interviews with hiring authorities to help you get the inside track on the hiring process and how to best conduct your job search.

3.	What happens after I sign up?
	After you sign up, you will receive a welcome letter which will give you some details on how to use your account. Keep your account information in a safe location for future reference. You will also receive our e-newsletter (sent monthly) and correspondence from us as necessary to deliver any services you purchased or inquired into.

4.	What do you do with my information?
	We will never sell or rent your personal information to third parties. We inquire into some things in order to better anticipate the needs of our customers and improve our services accordingly. For more information, please view our privacy policy.

1.	How do I request a workshop for my organization's members?
	We've partnered with organizations such as the NAACP (2007 Career Expo, Atlanta) to provide workshops for event attendees and organization members. Contact us at workshops@rightresumesonline.com and we will assist you in customizing a workshop to positively impact the experience your members have with your organization.

OTHER

1.	The membership process asks me to upload my resume, but I don't have one. What should I do?
	If you are purchasing resume writing services and don't have a resume to upload, please contact us for assistance. In order to write your resume, some basic information is needed. We can provide a brief form for you to complete and upload in lieu of a traditional resume.

2.	What is up with the rat/monkey in the video?
	He's funny, isn't he? The rat/monkey is holding the streaming video spot for our upcoming commercial. More importantly, we fully believe he's innocent.
